Just put 40.00 last night in my Mid size SUV and barely got half a tank...now that Russia attacks the Ukraine gas prices are moving close to 4.00 bucks a gallon real soon...no end in sight.

Our petrol price in the UK are roughly $7.50 a gallon, i live 12 miles from the nearest shop and 26 miles to the nearest filling station, but get some perspective. I am assuming the 3 years is the current US government?
The Democrats did not invade Ukraine,
Fuel prices are going up all over the world at the moment, so how can that be YOUR governments fault fuel prices are higher, I do not blame them for the rises in my country.

Stop blaming the government, probably one you did not vote for, for everything, it is lazy and plain stupid, what next will you blame them for the weather?

Finally - people are fighting and dying for their freedom, how does that compare with a rise in fuel?

The US is capable of being energy independent. We shouldn't have to rely on Russia or any foreign source for oil. We also pay for the defense of most of Europe from Russia while European countries contribute almost nothing and then buy oil from Russia. It is absurd. The chickens are coming home to roost, though, this week.

Well Mate, I didn't make this thread for a political statement, just venting frustration on today's gas prices....less then 14 months ago I was paying about 2.50 at the pump, now near 4 dollars...as far as Ukraine don't toss shade like Americans aren't concerned, we have spent millions in weapons, Armor, financial help, We certainly support all the Ukraine people and are supporting them as much as possible.

I can blame my government all I want to.We have that right in this country maybe you don't.I'm not alone as they have the worst polling numbers in our history. And this has nothing to do with the Ukraine,this was before.

I feel your pain brother; my Jeep was nearly bone dry, so I filled it yesterday............$83.12.

Just staggering.

And with the ****show unfolding in the Ukraine right now, it's going to get worse..........never mind 4.00 a gallon, it's going to be more like 5.00 a gallon.

That will make my decision to attend Chicago a lot easier; sorry, I'm not spending upwards of 500.00 on gas out and back.

No way, no how.

That's insane!! 83 bucks!! , at least your business is close, one way drive for me is 35 miles X 2 to work sucks !! I'm taking more vacation time just so I don't have to make the drive 5 or 6 days a week.
