George...that's the new Collector's Showcase set #CS00632....it comes with 3 figures and the catapult for $139.00...it's a very nice set...regards...Michael
Thank you, Mike. Likewise, as to having a nice collection. Every once in a while I take a look at your excellent Fall of Acre diorama. I'm personally still sticking with just the period of the Third Crusade. That era has fascinated me since my childhood, but I was never able to start a collection of realistic figures until King & Country launched their Medieval line. Now I'm totally hooked and obsessed with making my diorama. I've recently added a few more Saracen and Crusader figures and more of the K&C desert village buildings, for placement behind the castle walls. That desert village is just wonderful and was a brilliant move on the part of King & Country. Those buildings will sell like crazy. I've also added the K&C three wise men as civilians in the Saracen walled city. They fit in perfectly. I'll shoot and post new images soon. Stay well and happy collecting. George
While I was visiting I peaked at your Crusader diorama photos in your album - Its coming along very well - what a very nice collection you have George.

That's exciting news George. I've only been asking for camel mounted figures for 2 years now. I am being very selective with my Crusader/Saracen purchases. My current concentration is on Wm Britain ACW - which is my passion, K&C SOHK w/Navy & Marines - which just fascinate me, and later this year I plan to purchase some of the new First Legion Am Rev War figures. Trying to keep my collections small but very nice. Four historical periods is enough for me from 3 very good manufacturers. Later my friend -

Thank you George. I was attracted to the Streets of Hong Kong series two years ago at the 2008 Chicgo show when I saw K&C's USS San Pueblo display which introduced the US Navy in China. Then when they released their "China" US Marines in December along with the US Navy steam launch I knew I was hooked. Its a great range that is exceptionally colorful. With this, the K&C Crusaders and the Wm Britain ACW I think I have enough interests for now.

Hello George - great to hear from you. I have not seen the conversation about the scaling ladders - I'll have to look that up and read it. Funny that you would mention it, but yes, I have had significant bowing on the scaling ladder that has two crusaders on its upper half. The other scaling ladder I have has one crusader at its base and so it has not bowed at all.

    Hi George!
Yes, i have seen the writing about the ladder, but i have used my "climbing" crusaders with the siege tower. Bad news about the ladder allthough.
    Best regards - Heinrich
Hi Artillery Crazy. I'll be glad to help. Tim is a very personable guy. You would enjoy visiting his fine shop. www.troopsoftime.com. 1602 Copeland Street Jacksonville, FL 32204. Toll Free: 866-601-8192. Email: tim@troopsoftime.com. Best regards, George
    Hi George,
I was doing a search in the forum and came up with your reference to Tim Tyler and his shop/museum TROOPS OF TIME, in Jacksonville FL. Could you please send me his address and or e-mail/internet site maybe. I do go over to Florida occasionally and could try to add a leg to the trip and pay him a visit. If not I will for sure have to contact him via e-mail. Being off the beaten track of toy soldier collection down here south of the Equator is quite a challange for me and all opportunities must be explored.
    Best regards,
    Artillery Crazy
I thought the very same thing George when I saw the Life of Jesus display at the OTSN show . . . . . . Mike
Hello George. Always great to hear from you. I am very familiar with Troops of Time - have purchased from them in the past off of their web site. You have acquired the new Crusaders that I am interested in. I got to see them all at the Chicago OTSN show and I think they are the best yet. I'll be picking mine up one at a time going into the new year. For now I am building upon my Wm Britain Civil War collection. Your fortfied city sounds like its really coming along - would love to see some pictures of it . . . . . . . . . Mike
Hi George - I see you found the Cross/Crescent group. Hopefully that will become a good outlet for discussions on the Crusades and teh collecting of Crusaders. Mike
