Thanks for the cool comments on my photo albums. Regarding the Spartans, I looked at Conte's figures and just felt they were too "buff"- which led to some fun discussion between me and some forum members . I prefer St. Pete's figures- though pricey and rather romantic looking, I think they are the best out there. They have spiked a bit since the movie came out (a foot trooper is $125 now when they used to be $95- $100) but the poses are getting more engaging. I am filling out the Persians' with East of India's Persian range. The way I see, I have no problem buying St. Pete as they don't retire nearly as quickly as other companies and I am in this hobby for the long haul- why feel like I have to buy them all now??

Pictures from Vietnam are my most favorite to look at- there is just a certain grit and feel to them that you don't get with others- except maybe WW1. I was fortunate enough to serve with some Nam vets as my squad leaders- my CSM was 1st Cav- you guys are all my heroes and some day this country will get off it's as$ and thank you. STANDS ALONE!!
