It has been a long time since I've posted an update as I've been really busy with a lot of orders (some quite big). Things have slowed down slightly, so I have managed to get some new releases out and listed.

I was charged for an advert in issue 250 and as far as I know it appeared as a digital only issue. I cancelled my advertising at that point as I hadn't been told it wsa digital only and I was paying for a physical and digital advret and not receiving what I had been charged for.

It is something we are seeing in other hobbies as magazine content moves online and things you would have read about in a magazine are now on blogs or youtube...
I still think you can't beat a glossily printed magazine...

I am sure they will honour the subscription - they have taken over a number of magazines and always taken on the subscriptions when they did so - such as Model Farmer... Guideline seem a decent company.

They have now announced the new format of the magazine which will be one 100 page magazine incorporating both titles. It will be edited by Stuart Hennessy - the editor of TS&MF.
I think that is really good news and I'm looking forward to the new magazine.
Actually, quite a lot of us collect them to play with (along with plastic 54mm) - 54mm wargaming is still popular.

The new VAT rules don't affect sales to countries outside the EU.
If a supplier is VAT registered they can remove the VAT before shipping it to you, and then you pay any local taxes when the package arrives as before Jan 1st.

I understand from the castings reviewer Gary Haines, who has stepped down, that there was to be a new editor of TSC anyway, not sure who though... I guess it will be announced in the new issue.
I think TS&MF suffered from going digital - I pulled my advertising after the second digital only...
