    Rorke’s Drift.

I have all FL range and it is inspired by Fripp’s painting of Isandlwana. I think Matt has said the Zulu range was not great for them but a couple of nods to the film might have made it a bit more successful. Also the JJD range is based on the 2nd invasion which historically in my opinion is not...

    Rorke’s Drift.

As K&C seem to do excellent little sets from much loved TV shows and movies could we not have a set from Zulu to add interest to our dioramas. Perhaps the two officers, the Colour Sergeant, Corporal Scheiss with his trusty crutch and of course Hookie.

    FL Middle Guard Fusliers

Those look refined and very collectible. Charge of the Light Brigade please Matt. FL could deliver to the required standard.

Anglo-Zulu war : british figures size comparison

Just my 3 halfpennyworth. I have FL,TG and 1 Britain’s (Fred Hitch with a pistol) and they are size compatable. But you cannot mix those with the 54mm ie Conte or Benieto. I have 2 Benieto Zulu warriors and they look tiny up against the FL or TG. FL and TG Zulus work together well for size and...

    News Update August 5th, 2024 - Anglo-Zulu War

great looking figures, can’t wait for Zulus. Always thought that if the Zulus had organised all they had after Isandlwana I.E. half a million rounds of ammunition and easily one thousand martinis plus spares artillery and god knows what instead of destroying everything in sight the Zulu kingdom...

Amazed at some items sold on ebay

you are right. If you look on eBay at so called St Petersburg figures some are rubbish and often the seller has no idea what the figure is. I was not aware of any negative feedback on Attica. I was considering buying from them myself. Thought they were generally well regarded?

    UK Shows

Agree with everything you say but it would seem to be that or nothing which is a shame. As I said. Thomas Gunn were not even there which is a first. Now based in Hong Kong so probably will not attend in the future so no major players with direct representation. Tells you something.

    UK Shows

I was told by a lady from Guideline at the March show that the summer show will not happen and it is now just December and March. Things must be tight. Even the free plastic bag was from the local Indian takeaway.

    Tg

Did not see TG at the London show and note from the Website they have a place in Hong Kong. Have they now only a wharehouse in the UK and are they now HK based?

Question on T Gunn Zulu figures

Hi. Pardon but how do you know JJD are planning a Zulu war range? Be great if they were but if so is there any idea when?

Question on T Gunn Zulu figures

Hi. I have TG,FL and conte Zulus. The Conte are noticeably smaller and don’t look good with the FL and TG. I think FL and TG are 60mm and Conte are 54mm like Benito. The Conte I will probably put on EBay. Regards.

Question on T Gunn Zulu figures

First legion are in my opinion the best Zulu figures but are in short supply apart from the 2 carrying guns. Thomas gun are good but not as good and their skin tone blends in well with FL. They however do not have a great number of attacking figures and it is therefore difficult to compose a...
