    Marlborough Delhi Durbar Indian Courtyard

Hi Tom I finally found a photo of the wooden oval boxes you described in your post. They appear to be numbered SR1 and as such form part of the Silk Road range rather than the India at Last range that you mentioned. Photo attached. I’m still trying to find a photo of the Dragon Bridge which...

Good luck with the project to have the gate built - please do share photos of the end result! As a Durbar collector I just wanted to add that some of the manufacturers of that range have produced building facades for that collection. These vary in scale. Marlborough produced these in plastic and...

Hi, thanks for replying. I believe the first series of charging camels were numbered around LA 10 to 15 and related to the Match to Aqaba. The second series was produced a lot later I do not have the series number but I know it comprised of many more camels. I believe Ron was going to produce...

    Marlborough figures to ID

H Hi, I do not believe this is a Marlborough figure. It does not bear any resemblance to any Marlborough Durbar figures I am aware of, and from the photos it does not have the same level of detail or quality of finish as Marlborough figures.

Hi Tom, do you have photos of the Silk Road bridge? I’ve got a lot of the Silk Road sets but was not aware that there was a bridge to go with that range. Best wishes

    Unknown Marlborough Delhi Durbar

Wow! Thank you for sharing! If only such sets were readily available at the London show now!!! I spotted a few rare sets in those photos such as the Kutch standard bearer on horseback and the Jaipur elephant standard bearer. Ps I noticed that the first photo shows mostly Durbar sets by Britains...

    Marlborough Queen Victoria Carriage

Hi All, I recently came across a Marlborough Queen Victoria carriage with an add-on set of additional horses. I’ve only seen the carriage before with four horses. How common is the add-on set? If anyone has the carriage with 4 or 8 horses, please share photos! Best wishes.
