Neat idea, Hadrian!
A couple decades ago I did some photography of displays with 1/18 scale 21st Century Toys German figures and vehicles in real snow up in the mountains in California, but haven’t yet seen it down with the 1/30 scale figures.
Yeah, the trees and bushes are JG Miniatures products; however, the new Sheffield Miniatures products should be pretty similar. Personally, I like how they do their pine trees as they look more realistic than the conical “Christmas Tree” type firs other manufacturers make.
Thank you all for the kind compliments on my display! However, it wouldn’t look half as good were it not for the excellent work done by First Legion on their M10 and figures as well as the winter foliage from JG Miniatures (they make the best pine trees!)
Thanks Mike! That’s too bad you never got a JJD Jagdpanther… John did a fantastic job with this model and the winter variant. It’s got the full interior and everything. I got the one pictured in 2018 and it was one of my first 1/30 scale tanks.
Thanks Jason! And yeah, real grass wouldn’t have...

I think this is my third variation on this same basic scene featuring First Legion’s excellent winter M10 Wolverine model with the accompanying US Army tank rider and infantry figures. In this version, I’ve rearranged the trees and added a couple more infantry figures to represent the full set...

Thank you, Mike and Rob, for the kind comments on my display 😃
My BF-110 is now part of a coffee table display with my Thomas Gunn Bristol Blenheim Mk. IVF heavy fighter model. Both displays make use of K&C Luftwaffe and RAF series figures, which always seem to go best with the Thomas Gunn planes 😎
Happy New Year and thank you all for the kind comments on my display 😃
My BF-110 found its current resting place as part of a coffee table display next to my Thomas Gunn Bristol Blenheim Mk. IVF heavy fighter model.
It’s a suitable pairing of two aircraft types with similar purposes from the...
