Love your display with the JJD Panzer IB and the FL figures, Mike! Totally agree we need for DAK tank commanders. The War Park ones are great, just that they got retired right when John started to release his DAK vehicles.
Brilliant scene, Mike! The Panzer IIIN looks fantastic. However, your pics also speak to the need for FL to make some seated tank riders in summer uniforms, too!
Panzer Ace, me as well on the wish that FL would add more vehicles and figures to their Modern Wars line. FL has consistently shown their ability to surprise us with unexpected releases (the recent WoT Maus comes to mind) so I wouldn’t be surprised if there’s something in the eventual pipeline…
Thanks Mike! I’ve had my FL T-62 displayed in a vignette using natural dirt and bits of hardpan clay from my yard to simulate desert talus since I got the model in July 2023. The old display looked good, but I like the new one better...

I’d love to see FL expand their Modern Wars line with some more tanks and figures. Still seems like a lot of potential with this theme.
I recently redid my vignette display with First Legion’s excellent Syrian T-62 tank from their Modern Wars collection. This model is fantastic and very well done; though it seems overshadowed by some of FL’s more popular and expansive collections.
