When you get the time, would you please do me a favor? Please look at the thread called "World War I Band in Palestine" which is under the Hiriart section. It was started by PolarBear who wished Hiriart might make one at some point in time, but has moved on to how to make such a band by conversions, etc. I have absolutely nothing against the thread, and in fact, like it, but it should probably be under the "How-To" section since it really has nothing to do with Hiriart. Thanks in advance for your help.
Tom, (warlord1) suggested you can help and delete my first general forum, just listing general categories, i revised, and listed all items, specifically. Anyway, to track my forums, i see no link.........I am new sorry.
Thanks,
Jean (Luftflotte1)
Pat,
I'm glad to hear all is well. The museum is going to be a very unique one and with a little help from above we should have it completed. When? I don't have a clue. LOL.
Sorry about not being able to come down. So far the farthest person coming is from Wisconsin somewhere. That will be a nice trip. We plan to make it an annual event. I'll let Alex know that you were asking for him. When he retires he will give 100% to BSP. That will awesome! Take care and stay in touch. If you don't like email within this Forum, use the BSP email; battlescenepro@optonline.net It's 100% private )

Nick

Hi Pat
Apologies for not replying earlier. I have been very busy displaying part of my collection in a new cabinet.
I don't have much place left to extend my showcase although I still have to unpack some Britain boxes from the Durbar.
Hope to find a suitable place for them in the near future.
Regards
Auguste
Hi Pat
Thank you for your comments, pleased that you liked my albums.
It all started when I read an article in the Toy Soldier & Model Figures magazine issue Feb/Mar 1997 (#10). It was about the Toy Soldier Musuem in Pennsylvania owned by Jim Hillestad. I found it very interesting and it inspired me to try and produce something similar.
Unfortunately in South Africa there is a very limited availabilty of diorama materials. I had to learn how to make dioramas and also where to obtain painted or unpainted figures. I prefer to paint my own figures, although it seem to take forever to finish them. It took me 3 years to complete !
Keep in touch
Auguste
Meant to ask a long time ago and hope you decided to join me as a friend
