And since I’m on a roll, here’s another JJD WWII aircraft vignette with Josef Priller’s FW-190A8 and figures. John’s FW-190 is a fantastic model combining the ideal mix of accuracy, detail, and functionality. I’ve got mine displayed with the ACE-201P “Priller & Wingman” set and a few other figures and bits. In one shot I even tried to replicate a historical photo of Priller recounting one of his dogfights. The display base, oil barrels and crates are Thomas Gunn products.

Enjoy 😃

Great dio! I have that two figure set and didn't know it was based on an actual photograph. Thanks for sharing!

Nice display! well done. I have that JJD FW. it's one of my most favored built models. Anyone know where the F6F is? Is it not coming anymore?

Thanks for the kind comments on my display! John’s FW-190 is a solid and well done model and I’m really glad he chose to do Josef Priller’s aircraft that he flew during the Normandy invasion among hundreds of other FW-190 schemes he could have chosen…

But wait until you all see John’s new FW-190 night fighter in person… It looks even better!
