Just curious but what do other collectors do when a series has figures that they do not want/like but without them they do not necessarily have a complete set of that series?
I stopped being a "completest" a long time ago. Anymore, I cherry pick just the sets I want or am attracted to. I also collect based on certain ideas for a display.

Nice to have all of a series of course, but if you're not bothered, then save the space and cost to perhaps get a figure from a range you haven't considered collecting maybe of a historical character or just the subject of the sculpt.
When four figure sets were $90 and releases came out every now and then, set completion was possible. Now, as we have releases coming out monthly from many companies and the prices have increased dramatically, it’s just not possible to complete sets.
