The first of our holiday guests arrive this evening. My wife and I will be very busy tomorrow entertaining and preparing our family Christmas Eve party. So I am posting this sketch a little early while I have a moment.

Robin,
we will have to wait until Chistmas Day to open the last calendar image, so yet another present under the Coolibah Tree for us 'down under..
John
Robin, loved our time living in Tasmania and before that in New Zealand We miss those summer Christmas holidays. Its sunny and warm on Christmas eve in Devon though and we are packed out with family staying and friends visiting so not all bad but it's exhausting.

We look forward to returning in a few years to relax again on summer Christmas eve's in that chilled Kiwi vibe.

But until then there will be many JJD releases to keep me warm.

Happy Christmas from Blighty.

It's quickly becoming apparent that my wife and I are going to be very busy and distracted as more of our family arrives for our Christmas ⛄ celebration. I received the last sketch from John earlier this morning and so here it is. Once again this has been fun for me to do. I'm glad to be able to help John in this endeavor. Merry Christmas 🎄to all

Outstanding and Huzzah! I've been asking John ever since he started the Bull Run/Manassas series for the "Raggedy Ass" 2nd Wisconsin in their state militia grey uniforms. This made my day.

Well this ends this year's JJD Advent Calendar. I hope everyone saw something that they can look forward to. As for me, I'm more than happy because three new ACW regiments for the Battle of First Bull Run/Manassas have been introduced: Wheat's Louisiana Tigers, 1st Rhode Island Infantry Regiment, and last but not least, the 2nd Wisconsin Volunteer Infantry Regiment.

Once again, Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas and a most Happy New Year

Mike

Thanks Mike for bringing John's calendar to us again this year. Highlights for me this year are the new American War of Independence pieces and the revisit of the "Wellington in India" series, not to mention all the new gunners from various eras that are inbound.
