  • Releases are therefore likely to be more "random" in nature, rathr than a smooth flow of subject matter or type. id hoped we could AVOID this right at the start. EXIT Mr Kaputnik from New Zealand stage Left in Sack Cloth and Ashes....
Honestly I do not know or understand HOW the previous owners EVER managed to create or sell a single item. Virtualy everything has to be sorted and re sorted into sub assembelies. Its been a YEAR already and I confess to some abatement of my hopes...
One is obliged to get product out ready for clients to buy and for us to sell before Christmas time. hence sometimes our release plans take a fresh direction oweing to "unexpected" discoveries among the Toolings and masters.
It is both satisfying and dis satisfying at the same time owning the "remains" of Fleurbaix toy Soldiers. We cast some lovely Knights only to discover that "kaputnik" has lost the mould for their arms and weapons...Grrrrr. Work has definately began however, and production will slowly gain a pace ....
Production "Masters" for Charles Dickens famous "Christmas carol" featuring Tiny Tim and Ebeneezer Scrooge. Some repair work is needed....hopefully in good time for Christmas !!

Original Plastic Production "Masters" to make a Bofors 40 MM Gun. Alas "Kaputnik" in N Z lost or destroyed the Gun Barrel "master" so we have a casting Barrel part (sub master) only for this item right now....

These are "real production Master figures" spot the difference?! Alain caton modified them to wear Royal navy Rating "Flash protection" suits and Winter Coats with Long boots or ordinary trousers with boots.IMG_2024-10-19-14-09-57-902.jpgIMG_2024-10-19-14-10-38-978.jpg..

The Kaputniks called these "Crew Masters". But in fact they are merely Castings sprayed in Grey Auto Mobile "Primer" in N Z years ago....He "lost" the originals or sold them or something....Grrrrr

UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT !!! Maxime and Maryse wish to state that Quality and service will form the Ethos of our newly launched Business. Products will be checked, and complete, and delivered. We hereby distance ourselves from the past negative feedback caused by the old now "Defunct" Previous owners.
This sadly was true for DUCAL and for "Mountford" where slip Shod work made in N. Z. caused customers to desert the ranges due to poor service and bad workmanship. We aim to re establish customer confidence under our new management.
It is hoped to offer "painted" sets and figures at a later time depending upon our market Place experience. Music In Miniature is a excellent range, though certain "other " ranges or products have sadly sufferred due to the negative image from the former N Z owners who sold inferior products.
