UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT !!! Maxime and Maryse wish to state that Quality and service will form the Ethos of our newly launched Business. Products will be checked, and complete, and delivered. We hereby distance ourselves from the past negative feedback caused by the old now "Defunct" Previous owners.
This sadly was true for DUCAL and for "Mountford" where slip Shod work made in N. Z. caused customers to desert the ranges due to poor service and bad workmanship. We aim to re establish customer confidence under our new management.
It is hoped to offer "painted" sets and figures at a later time depending upon our market Place experience. Music In Miniature is a excellent range, though certain "other " ranges or products have sadly sufferred due to the negative image from the former N Z owners who sold inferior products.
Our Range of White Lead Free Metal Toy Soldier Figures is pre dominantly produced in Collectors 54MM (1/32) Scale. Many are offerred as "Kits" to assemble and paint to client choice. We offer unpainted kits figures and castings at this time.
our working Ethos is to offer to the New as wel as the accomplished Toy Figure Collector something of collectable interest and Model or "Toy" Soldier figure building experience.IMG_2024-04-22-12-45-43-772 (1).jpg
Quality castings are found in our extensive "MUSIC IN MINIATURE" range, in collectors 54MM Scale. This range is large and offers a good choice.IMG_2024-04-22-09-43-27-124 (1) - Copie.jpgIMG_2024-04-22-15-12-34-745 (1).jpgIMG_2024-04-22-09-52-54-059~2.jpgIMG_2024-04-22-10-16-37-825.jpgIMG_2024-04-22-15-15-26-940.jpg

Below Castiings Photos. We offer a Beginners Collection figure series. For those totaly "new" to the Hobby, to practice their skills on before buying a more refined and complicated detailed figure or kit.

Alain Caton and other Sub Contractors are known to have supplied some "Mountford" parts....Seems Dave didnt actually make much by his own hand....on the Artillery range.
Looks like I might need to re make the Germans too.....sniff
The "Mountford" German Riders bear a worrying resembelance to the rather "Bland" figures produced by ESCI and some early 1970's Tamiya plastic figures, until 1984. They look like scaled up versions to me. Did Dave love sub contract EVERYTHING then?
