Who has one of these rare beasts?

TGM released Three colour variants of the Type 1 Ho-Ni I self propelled gun/tank destroyer. I didn't buy any as they didn't see much use outside of Japan. They are still relatively easy to buy on ebay etc, the TGM amphibious tank is much rarer imo.

My 3 German WW2 Panther Tanks

Based on detail and colour scheme, the John Jenkins Design Panther is a clear winner IMO. The Honour Bound scheme was too pastel, and the Figarti scheme was too aged looking, like 50 years after WW2.

Who has one of these rare beasts?

Nope, the model didn't include the extra float sections, same as the photo with the Aussie troop above.

OK thanks, I didn't think that my JJD Panther came with a Figure.

Who has one of these rare beasts?

This is one of the early TGM sets being RS001 - Type 2 Ka-Mi Japanese Navy Amphibious tank, only 100 released World Wide, I scored this from Brett several years ago. Interesting photo of Aussies with #602 etc.

    News AK: Review

I wasn't interested in the early Vichy French Camel rider sets, and despite being a collector of 8th Army and the Afrika Korps I won't bother with the new A/Korps camel riders. That said, IMO we are lucky to have the opportunity to buy these sets even if they're not 'exactly what we want' as...

    King & Country Dispatches -- February 2025

There should be some slack in caterpiller/tank treads, personally I don't think it matters if the tracks droop low when you pick them up, it's not like that's how they were meant to be displayed. It's more accurate, important to some, that the top of the tracks sit ontop of the wheels when the...

    Honour Bound Repaint

I look forward to seeing your HB Bergepanther repaint, still one of my favorite models. I like the terrific detail on the newer 1/30 scale models but there's just something about the early sets, they seem to have a character of their own.

Louis, you have some nice 'Gold' Honour Bound models, among the very best models from that era.

    Things that I really like

I liked them, but now I'm very wary of log trucks, always speed past them before they lose their load ;)
