Hard to tell with this one as CTS reissued them about 15 years ago. The only difference as I recall was that they had the horses' heads turned slightly.
The plastic axles are likely original as late Marx, particularly when they were owned by Quaker. I'm thinking they came in Comanche Pass and the cereal box sets.
For one, I'd keep an eye on Ebay, as you can often get nice lots of Marx figures pretty reasonably. Also, Airfix has reissued most of their 1/32 scale figures and they are available also at a pretty reasonable price. And if you can get to any toy soldier show, or even large toy show you can...
I've seen most of these either at Walmart or at toy shows, but never saw or heard of the two WWII anniversary sets. Those are very interesting. It would have been nice if there were 1/32 scale figures made from these.

There are enough European companies, as well as Hat, that are doing or have done Napoleonic. I would like to see TSSD focus on the Viet Nam series for a while and not hop around.
