    The Grille is Fantastic!

It’s amazing to me how much better in particular the painting of figures has become over the last decade. These are a good example.

    Iron Men And Horses

Superb diorama. I like that it “breathes” by giving the figures and the group space. Displaying toy soldiers in this scale requires space in my opinion. I also like the interaction of the figures with each other.

    Reb Model 1841 Howitzer

Ken, when will you be introducing the new grass mats to your photography? I am curious what they look like compared to the previous two generations. I only remember one of your WWII photos with three running German soldiers that used the new grass base.

    Jack Updyke 1/32 Minimen

TED Deddens acquired the molds (and some inventory) from the estate. He offered a number of figures at the Chicagoland Show. They were very popular I think. The ones I saw were painted in gloss, though. You might want to contact him for a chat. He can be reached at the Britains toy soldier...

    My Seven version

This is a gorgeous scene. The spacing is so generous that it feels more realistic.

Did set 89A come with more than 4 German Colonial Troops?

I am certain that Ana in this case painted eight additional figures upon request. She is more than happy to accommodate a toy soldier collector‘s specific request. But this set might be out of production as it is quite old. I would drop her an email and ask whether the molds are still good...

I was following your travails on FB. That was quite a trip. Loved the scene where you explained to the vet the battle of Waterloo.
