We have got tickets for the Final , so hopefully the AB,s can end a very long drought . My better half is from the lucky country so it should make an interesting game if both NZ and Aus make the final :) .If not I just hope its a decent game of running rugby.

Very true , more than once when I was piecing the order for these guys together I added and then removed a Roman figure [just to have a look of course :)] . But having seen the image of the new French figures on FL,s homepage and with a fair few Naps still to get I am glad my paper thin resolve...

Rapt to have the new Scots arrive yesterday , I think 270 is still my favourite of this bunch and an honourable mention goes to the figure showing the French a bit of cheek :p. Just have to chip away now and add a some depth especially the kneeling figures for the front rank.

From looking at my set the figures do have spurs .

Its good to hear the reviews and see photos from the guys who have bought these, I never really thought I would collect Romans but when ever I visits FL,s website after checking out the NAPS these are the next range I take a gander at.

I think this post is spot on , but I think the reality is some people enjoy winding each other up more than talking about little painted soldiers.

Super looking figures , not an era that I would jump into but with so much other great stuff from FL I,d like, that is not a bad thing for the bank balance .

We are fairly fortunate as collectors in this part of the world for now ,because with the decline in value of the $US that has softened the blow of rising prices . When I started collecting I could pretty much double the shelf price of anything by the time it landed here so I can share the pain .

That figure looks like a good conversation piece ;) , you would have to be a good keen man to expose your backside with swords/ lancers and all that lead flying around .

Good news on the Gordons , First Legion now shows the latest figures as being in stock . Realy looking forward to seeing them in the flesh particullarly the wounded vignette.

Thanks , yes the mirror on the back gives me two for the price of one :smile2:. [makes it hard to take photos mind you] .The line infantry are such cool figures I,m rapt First Legion did a secound run of these guys or I would have missed the boat on most of them.
