The helmet cover looks to be splinter pattern, which is fine for the Wehrmacht. If it is dot pattern, then it is a fantasy cover since they did not exist.

I also have a bunch of HB tanks and figures in my collection. I think they are under rated by most people. They play nicely with my K&C stuff also. The Sherman and Tiger Gold Editions are phenomenal. I wished I got any HB Sherman when they were available.

tdubel, I think the seller wanted to back out or recoup his losses on the figures since you won them cheap. I hate when sellers try those tricks. When I sell on ebay it ships for the price it ends for and the shipping I quoted even if I am losing money.

I have also sold several items to him in the past with no problems. On a side not isn't funny how some stuff passes back and forth between us. I have sold many K&C sets and have seen them sold off again to new buyers. I wonder how many people never open the box.

I think the 35 amount was just right, if they had to make more in the future I would think 50 sets as a max. I still see other sets for sale and can see why they do not want to make too many sets. It is hard for a manufacturer to decide how many sets to produce. K&C gets complaints for either...

They have been selling for a lot recently. I wonder how many were made, they sold out from stores quicker than most other scenery.

The sets are still available for preorder from some other dealers. I guess they split them up to the major dealers. I am glad I bought them now, I hate trying to track down stuff after it is sold out.

The light color bands are made from breadbag straps, and the dark color ones are made from tire inner tubes.

I just came back from the show. Some very nice stuff there, I did see the John Jenkins wargame setup, the figures were awesome. Hobby Bunker and Minutemen had some 54mm 60mm stuff for sale. It is really nice to see some K&C stuff in person before buying. The new Fallshirmjaegers and German WWI...

Some dealers get around the set pricing by giving discount codes. I get stuff for 10% off from one dealer. It add up after a while.

Speaking of painting, what brand and colors are you guys using to paint up the Spartans? I will try my hand at painting some plastic ones, but would like them to match my metal ones.
