I have bought a few single figures from different sets. I was looking to get all the German prisones and did not need the British or Russians that comprised half of the sets. And if I bought the whole sets I would have to sell off the others, so it is easier to buy singles.

It looks as if you buy any Strictly Limited or special editions they may increase in value quicker than a recently retired item. The best bet is to buy what you like and if it increases, all the better. K&C lets us know in advance what is going to retire, so you can plan your purchases that way...

Nice collection. I have a lot of them also, but stopped collecting when they started repainting the tanks over and over. If they come out with some Panzer III's I will buy a few more.
