The sculptor for Yeomanry (Alan Caton sp?) passed away a few years ago so this could have something to do with it also.

That is correct. I think some recast the originals and hollowed them out to save costs or make them easier to cast?

Looks good so far Mike. I am sure you would make a good job on the static grass also. You could also apply glue in small blobs to wax paper and make tufts of grass that you can then attach to your diorama.

Definitely Wm Britains of sorts. The horses are not correct for that coach, these horses are the ones used in the State Landau Coach set. I agree with what The Baron has said. There was a guy many years ago that sold Britains recasts, I think he was in the UK so perhaps someone bought castings...

That dog looks like a copy of the Brtians plastic farm dog that was available. I know that a few Trophy pieces are copies of Britains Farm/Zoo series.
