Wanted: Retired First Legion World War 2 Stalingrad Russians

I'm looking for the following retired First Legion World War Two Stalingrad Russians to complete my collection. Let me know if you have any of these to sell. I'm sure we can find a price that will work for you. I am not going to lowball for these figures. Russian Stalingrad RUSSTAL011 Russian...

    New pics

The sniper team looks very nice, but I would have preferred the figures on their own base with the brick background as a separate piece. When the background is integral to the figure, it really limits the display options and makes it more difficult to integrate with my existing scenics. Just...

News Update July 28th, 2025 - WWII German Armor

Glad to see everyone likes the new tanks.

    Kursk 1943

Then why put an SS tanker in the Ferdinand? ;) Beautiful pictures as always though.

It's First Legion TC006 that came out with the First Legion Panzer IVs.

First Legion Hetzer (A Broken One is Fine)

Does anyone have a First Legion Hetzer they would like to sell? This is for a conversion project, so a broken FL Hetzer is fine (actually preferable), as long as it has all the broken parts.

    M10 Wolverine

I also will echo what others have said that the First Legion M10 looks great. It's a steal at the sale price. The tanks also goes great size-wise with all the recent W. Britains walking USGIs and tank crews. I find they blend in decently well with the First Legion figures, so there are a lot of...

    A Panther Amongst the Hedgerows

No problem. H2 "Hurricane" was popular for some reason, as Figarti also made a version.

    A Panther Amongst the Hedgerows

    I'm not Finlome, but that's First Legion's "H2" Sherman.

    Panzer iii vs Jagdpanzer iv

T-Man, Thanks for the great pics on the Jagdpanzer track-link fix. That will make it very easy to do my planned conversion/repaint in the future.

I personally will never understand that.

    KUR010 Ferdinand #501

From Kursk to November 1943, s.Pz.Jg.Abt. 653 claimed 320 tanks killed from for the loss of 13 Ferdinands, or a 24/1 kill ratio. 653rd was very successful, better than most Tiger units.

    KUR010 Ferdinand #501

For the history of the Ferdinand, it always gets a bad wrap for poor performance at Kursk. But the reality was a little different. Hilary Louis Dole gave an excellent synopsis. Basically, he said the Ferdinand’s effectiveness came down to the tactics of which unit employed it . The s.Pz.Jg.Abt...

    More New Releases!

My eyes are the scourge of manufacturers! 😁 I say that completely in jest. I just point out some of this stuff as constructive feedback so Matt & Co. can make future products even better. My figure collection is 90% First Legion, so I’m a pretty huge fan.

    More New Releases!

I share your sentiment on the Kursk SS figures. They look brilliant and I ordered them all. I do wish FL had used Waffen SS camo on the rolled up shelter halves. Looks like the factory mistakenly did the m in splinter camo.

    More New Releases!

That mounted Roman Legate looks brilliant. I also really like the teenage Volksgrenadier and the Volksgrenadier pulling the ammo crate. Very nice poses on them. The Panzergrenadier with the Panzerfaust and MP-44 looks excellent, really nice face and paint job. H’d look even better without the...

    KUR010 Ferdinand #501

Mastercom, My reply was not intended to be agressive, merely direct and factual. The grey barrels and black muzzle brakes in the picture I post are not waiting to be painted. That is how they left the factory and went into combat: black finished muzzle brakes with grey heat resistant lacquer...

    KUR010 Ferdinand #501

Mastercom, You stated "And finally, the muzzle brake of the barrel is not systematically all blackened." Your statement is false. It does not matter to me if you believe me or not. I was attempting to educate the forum on a fact that not many people seem to know. I made no claims they were...
