Gunner & loader seem to be all that's necessary for a while. But they often had 3-4 man crews to fetch ammo, etc

Sounds awesome! My uncle did mainly WW2 aircraft at first but he was a model-making machine. He made all the Pacific Aircraft for both sides, most of the others and even smaller-scale ships like the Bismark and even aircraft carriers with tiny planes on deck. Then he did every WW2 tank. Some WW1...
