Nice pic. That Cromwell is one of my favourite pieces, definitely underrated and underappreciated by K&C collectors. For $115 it was a steal and came with optional storage gear! A great example of creativity, value, and detail.
The good, bad and ugly of the November dispatch for me.
GOOD: The releases are mainly from lines I collect so the Bulge and Arnhem releases are of interest. My favourite pieces are "Help at Last" and "Sergeant Bill Fulton", spectacular issues! The Universal carrier is certainly an upgrade from...
Its a nice AFV, really like the ambush camo however I wish like others it had fenders ( with some battle damaged/missing ones) and a little more weathering. ^&cool
Binder001 and many others make some very valid points. I find it difficult to meaningfully comment on something that doesn't exist yet however here it goes. My K&C collection I view as art that is collectible and therefore by definition should have future value (hopefully increasing but not...
Anytime I see a diorama of this scale and magnitude irrespective of what era it portrays it is simply magnificient! The vast time, energy and financial resources to put something together like this demonstrates pure passion for history and that is to be commended for anyone daring enough...
EVERYTHING {sm3} .....or at least it feels that way. Seriously though with everything so expensive these days I collect fewer pieces and unfortunately have to be very selective. Gone are the days of collecting lots of pieces in many lines.
These days I'm trying to catch up with older releases...
Very nice set up full of wonderful new and old K&C pieces. Those open topped vehicles driving around in the winter must have been brutal! I know here in the fall nobody drives motorcycles or convertibles otherwise they'd freeze! brrrrrrrrrrr ^&cool
What a huge issue! The collector is starting to be the size of a Sears catalogue!{sm3} I always enjoy viewing and reading the Collector and think it is very integral to the K&C brand. Keep up the good work. ^&cool
Nice diorama. K&C certainly does a very good Battle of the Bulge series. Many of the pieces in it are amongst the favourites in my collection. I think if K&C did a figure based on me that one of the GI drinking the cup of coffee is close! ^&cool
I suspect the October dispatch (whenever we get it) won't contain any real surprises. I figure most pieces have been previewed in Chicago. Having said that the German winter tank riders look really good and will probably have a spot perched ontop some of my AFV's. ^&cool
Good showing from Figarti this year at Chicago. $369 seems pretty reasonable for an aircraft as large as the B-25 Mitchell in this day and age as is the cost of the Tiger. That aside I think my favourite release from the show goes to Figarti. That Panther looks awesome. It really like the ambush...
Superb releases. I've never seen these machines before, very unique. ^&cool WWI although not an era I've collected (other than a few classic warbirds) it is an era I'm slowly warming up too especially seeing these amazing AFV's JJD is putting out.
Thanks for sharing all the pics. Its always nice to see non-marketing pics of all these collectibles. It's also nice to know that from a retailers point of view the industry is still doing well. ^&cool
You definitely have something here. Our generation all had similar childhoods. The way we played and the toys we played with ( and I would also add actually playing SPORTS outside) is so different from what today's youth pursue as hobbies/pastimes. I tend to agree with you who our hobby is...
Always enjoy a good RAF diorama. The combination of ground vehicles, planes and personnel cannot be beat. ^&cool Looking forward to future developments in this line. Tip of the hat to K&C for recognizing and producing some females in their various lines. Women (and this is often forgotten) no...
