Saw the other day that A Call to Arms released their British infantry of the '70s in 1/72 scale. Pretty good in my opinion. Anyone know if these will also be done in 1/32?

Back then, butternut varied drastically in shade and actual color since there were no standards for it. I've used Testors light brown in the past.

Academy's set isn't bad, but the heads were all the same and had a cartoonish quality about them (they reminded me of Popeye). Dragon's para's set is good. And you can also convert or modify other figures depending on the era and conflict. Keep in mind that Israel utilized gear and uniforms...

The Esci sets Wraith mentioned are the NATO, Warsaw Pact and Spetsnaz troops. Good sculpting, but the Spetsnaz troops poses are pretty lifeless and similar. The other two sets have more variety in this regard, although they really cut back the selection from the original 1/72 sets - the NATO...

Great work! Here are some I did from A Call to Arms (American Maryland Infantry set) and Revell. (British AWI Infantry set). I found the sculpting detail to be good, especially with the ACTA set.
