Re: Upcoming WW2 Germans/Russians & Crusaders from Xuan Hua Miniatures (They look nic
Thank you for posting these. A very attractive entry into the toy soldier world.
Thank you, Mark, great photos. I did not take many. My favorite pieces were Ruberti’s Winged Hussars, Blank’s Tannenberg 1410 vignette and Marion’s King Lionheart as Crusader King.

It is amazing how rarely these figures come up for sale on the secondary market. People just keep them. And rightfully so as they are among the best painted gloss figures.
Recently, I started collecting the civilians from the Town and Around subrange. As I wanted to shop more focused and not rely on the secondary market, I purchased a couple of figures directly from the “new” website and must say it was a very pleasant experience. Easily manageable, large...
I may not be a sophisticated and extensive collector of Imperial Productions’ figures, but I have collected them for awhile now whenever I get a chance at a show or at an auction.
This is probably as good as it gets. I would probably “dirty” up the grass tiles with debris, sand and loose leaves. That will also help cover the figure bases and seams between individual tiles.
I admire your background buildings. Who made those and are they available?
i do not know who made Jim’s Delhi Durbar background buildings, but I am pretty certain Jim made them himself as he creates many dioramas himself.
I knew there were collectors way more dedicated to the Durbar than I was, but this is on a whole different level. This is amazing. You are apparently very focused in your collective habits.
