Decided to repaint my collection room, less than a day to paint, but around 4-5 other days packing away and unpacking my collection. I took out 3 cabinets, 1 sliver and 2 black framed and i am happy with the result, far less in than before, but i can see more and have more room to move round. The final picture is my 'display' is of the TGM H111 and DO118 Flying Boat, trouble is they are displayed in the boxes. I have promised myself one day i will move and have a room big enough to have out all of my whole collection, this is about 50% of figures and tanks, but around 25% of my planes.

Great job, understand how daunting it is to move so many fragile items, but usually once you start it’s surprising how quickly you can achieve your goal. That said, something often goes West by not being careful enough and you have to put this down to the price of war. Thankfully you will not have to do this again, until you pull up stakes. Robin.

Now that is some collection. Fantastic to look upon your beautiful collection. Thank you for sharing.

Cheers,
Grey

I bought them in Normandy at the Dead Mans Corner Museum, loads of great stuff in there. If you also look there is a couple of German Stick Grenades on top of one of the cabinets, which i got from the Battle of the Bulge Museum in Bastogne.

The guns are demil, they have a spring mechanism so you can cock them and fire. My nephew has already had me promise i will not get rid of but give them to him as those are the ones he uses in his online gaming. On next trip might either get a Thompson or a Rifle, depends what mood takes me.
