Which maker has the smallest vehicles?

This is very helpful. Can you give me some general guidance on when K&C moved away from 1/32?

Which maker has the smallest vehicles?

I don't quite see the problem: most of the companies make a PIV. Which is the largest, which is the smallest? The exact scale is irrelevant to me, until you hit the outside (ridiculous) scale of , say 1/48. I do appreciate Katana's and Kilted Vampire's comments. They are very useful to me...

Which maker has the smallest vehicles?

As a very initial, tentative collector of WW2 items (pre-1915 has been my preference), I noted the discussion of vehicle sizes, without there being an actual or definitive conclusion. While some seemed quite committed to the larger size, I would prefer the smallest size that is compatible with...

Thanks everyone for the responses. I did find a set here in the States. This forum is fantastic! Thank you, Tom

WTB: John Jenkins SUD-02 Mahdists attacking

Title says it all. Looking for this set, and perhaps some of the non-casualty Hadendowa (Fuzzy-Wuzzy) sets. Thanks!

2017 West Coaster Toy Soldier Show at the Wyndham Anaheim-Garden Grove

This was my first West Coaster in the last five years or so. Used to be pretty regular in the 90's and 00's. I was indeed irritated by the date, even more by the fact that I only found out about the show from a casual remark in a wargame forum......but having said all that, I am very glad I...

Looking for King & Country Alamo and early WWI

I am pursuing all avenues (admittedly at a somewhat leisurely pace: don't wish to have all the fun right away!). Thanks for the reply.

    Kronprinz scale question

I don't wish to restart the entire "size" discussion, but from what I have seen (admittedly, not all lines, and no WW2), new Britain's are among the largest, or very near King & Country size, of the various figures. John Jenkins seems to be the smallest modern producer.

    K&C Janissaries

I think Janissaries would be a great idea. Especially if it detoured just a bit to Egypt in 1799 (Mamelukes and French).

Looking for King & Country Alamo and early WWI

Hi, I have a certain number of King and Country Alamo figures and some 1914 French and Germans. I am looking for more of these. If anyone has some they wish to part with, let me know and we can compare lists. Thanks, Tom

    Kronprinz scale question

I just came across the Kronprinz site (thanks to its posts on this forum). Great looking miniatures. I see that these figures are 60mm. My question is are they King & Country 60mm (ie, large, bulky), or are they John Jenkins 60mm (ie, 59mm, slender)? I do wish you all success with your line.

East of India Boxer Rebellion wanted

I did indeed get several sets from Tom D. A great guy to deal with. Since then I have found a number of sets, including a couple at the West Coaster Toy Soldier Show. Still looking, but probably have a solid base now. Thanks to everyone for their suggestions.

Just inherited large amount of soldiers

I am also interested. Any way to get some sort of list?

    WW1 German troops being deployed

Interestingly, the way you have photographed the figures, the differing heights of various manufacturers looks like the normal height difference in life. Look at a similar scene from early WW1, where the men are not formed in close formation. Btw, who is the maker of the Jaegers in covered...

East of India Boxer Rebellion wanted

I am interested in rounding out my (rather dusty) East of India Boxer Rebellion. Both Boxers and Western forces. Not looking for super-premium items, however.

Current Toy Soldiers of the World and Trophy

Back in the day, when I was buying everything Trophy, I purchased a number of TSotW sets (mostly Napoleonic). I found them (with one or two exceptions) to be a very good fit with early and middle Trophy. Towards the end of the line, of course, Trophy went to a more "modern" look (flatter...
