I understand your point . . . however this figure was advertised as 54mm . . . which it clearly is not! Had I been aware of the actual size, I'd not bought it.

Won a nice looking Ekcasting Russian pilot on eBay to replace a missing HECO figure (when suitably modified) only to find that it was not 54mm as advertised but rather 65mm. Wonderful detail, though!

Unless they're high value I'd touch them up. Get some glossy black acrylic paint from a hobby store and use a toothpick or small wire as an applicator.

At the chance of repeating myself, I must admit that the show was a mixed bag. Owing to the short notice before the show and the unusual date, no one expected the show to be a raging success. Fortunately, next year's show will be back in the normal March timeframe. Advertising will be better...
The success or failure of a show often depends what you're looking for. As far as the 2017 WC, it was a mixed bag. Owing to late availability of a site, participation was less tham normal and the usual flyers were delayed . . . I didn't get mine until I was back from the show! As said before...
Am enjoying your display of your Bastion figures . . . they are colorful and well made! Also saw your list of wants . . . and am glad that you're filling some of the holes in your collection. By any chance do you have a complete list of Bastion figures? If so, would you be so kind as to...
More . . . just saw an article on USN sailors in Siberia ca 1919 in Naval History. They were wearing bules with watch caps . . . which also could've been worn under helmets. Bandoleers around waist appeared to be of black leather.

Don't know what period your modelling, but I'd like to make a few suggestions assuming that the figures are to represent a landing party in combat.
1. After 1916 they would've worn helmets. If before 1916, white hats turned down would've been used. If wearing blues, flat hats would be the...
Appreciate the lists of catalogs . . . let's keep them coming! Should anyone have suggestions as to where to purchase parts (rifles, heads, arms), please pass the info along.

Terrific! TAWs figures have long been some of my favorites . . . bought them unpainted from Graham so that I could paint them. Would that the line had continued.

I've restored about 30 CBG-Mignot horses and now must find riders for them. Finding riders circa WW1 has been much harder than expected, but I now have enough to at least start making three or four sets of French officer plus nine troopers each. (Should any of you have sources for additional...
Just got an e-mail from Woody . . . a block of rooms has been reserved at $129/nite with free parking during the day and, if I remember correctly, $10 overnite . . . also free shuttle to Disneyland for you kiddies!
