New product of Mongol range - a tremendous baggage cart

Wow, that is impressive! This reminds me of Figarti's shock and awe pieces from back in the day. Congratulations to TM on such an ambitious release. I find the Mongol Empire fascinating as so many other collectors I know do too. It's a wonderful choice for such an expansive miniature range...

    Introducing 2nd Generation Painting

I do prefer the way K & C paints most skin tones in general better now than they have in the past. But as for the rest of the figure, the current painting style is not my preference. They come off as speed painted to me, as in base coat, light dry brush, done. I really enjoy the newer sculptures...

    Mounted Mamlukes

I have seen them up close and came away very impressed. The sculpting, assembly and painting is very good. They are closest to K & C in style but with more detail throughout and better paint. The Baibars figure in particular really stood out to me.

    New catalogue on FL website

Wow, that is a lot of new and forthcoming FL to see all once! I have some favorites that I'm looking forward to seeing "in the metal"- Vikings, Hetzers, and Spanish Tercio. The French Cuirassiers caught my eye as well along with a few of the gladiators. I still have my old K & C BBG Hetzer. It's...

    The 700

Thank you Robin! The terrain is all made from scratch. The columns are from a resin kit that I painted. The crows are separate kit pieces that I painted, drilled out and attached to the column with brass pins. I sculpted / painted the groundwork. The platform with steps I scratch built.

    The 700

We all know about the 300 Spartans who bravely fought to the last man at The Battle of Thermopylae. I wanted to create a diorama as a tribute to the 700 warriors from Thespiae who stayed for The Last Stand and perished right alongside the Spartans. This is a 54mm diorama featuring three of...

New Releases for May 2023 - The Ancients

I've been waiting on the Boudicca chariot, and it looks to be well done. If I could change one thing it would be to have harder charging horses. The figures look good.
