    NFL 26-27 season

Turning away from "Jacuzzi" Mike, the NFL draft hype is beyond ridiculous. I give them credit for promoting this nonevent, but you can wake up tomorrow morning and read the results in three seconds that will take the entire night to unfold. The fools that dress up to attend this event have too...

    NFL 26-27 season

I'll take McVay 100 times out of a 100 over "First Round." Maybe he can turn his "counseling" sessions into a reality show if he gets canned. I would pay to hear him engage with a therapist about these romps and see the light when he gets religion. The only lesson he has learned is don't get...

    NFL 26-27 season

He is "First Round" Mike and "Bubble" Vrabel. The latter rhymes - sort of. Imagine those counseling sessions where Bubbles tries to learn why he can't frolic with women in the hot tub. He emerges more Gomer Pyle than Tony Soprano. A new man with so many wild card games to lose in his future.

    NFL 26-27 season

They hire PR people to give them bad advice. It never works. They just dig themselves in deeper and deeper. "Bubble" Vrabel is now pulling the old seeking counseling trick. Making him appear to be the victim of someone else's conduct. He has no regrets about his conduct. That is the person...

    NFL 26-27 season

The bigger issue is not taking responsibility. Just say he screwed up. Instead he is all over the place. It's not the crime of the century but it is the unwillingness to accept responsibility that reflects poorly on him. He is not sorry that he did it. He is sorry that he got caught.

    Things that I really like

The Lakers are locked in. Everyone is playing well and hard. Smart was a beast. With that said, Houston is not very good. If this Lakers team were playing OKC, they would still be losing by 20+ in a sweep. But I'll take it for the time being.

    NFL 26-27 season

"Bubble" Vrabel is sinking in quicksand. All he had to say is that he screwed up and apologize. But he is trying to finesse his way out of this and making it worse every day. Sometimes the aftermath is worse than the act.

They said Durant's injury would ordinarily take 2-3 weeks to recover from. So I doubt he is 100%. He may end up not even playing. My expectations for the Lakers are not high but I do think this is a 50-50 series at this point.

    Things that I really like

The latest I heard is Durant might play tonight. Reaves might be back before Luka. My guess is neither play in this series unless it goes the distance.

    Things that I really like

The extended playoff schedule likely works to the Lakers' advantage at LeBron's age. Some talk Luka could come back mid-series but I still doubt it. Even if he does, he likely will be rusty.

I wonder how you become a "crisis communications expert" and why people think they are important enough to need one? Of course, if she did nothing wrong, she could just say that. This is one of those situations where the more that is said, the deeper the hole. "ESPN reported last week that...

    MLB 2026

With all the crying about the money the Dodgers have spent, their farm system has brought along some very good players. Also nice to see Max Muncy return to form. His injury limited him for a couple of years. He had a huge HR in game seven of the WS. Injuries are a killer, though. And the...

US/Israel Launches Op Epic Fury Against Iran

I read that it would be a massive undertaking to remove the enriched Uranium. No easy task requiring thousands of people. And that is assuming it is not buried under tons of rubble. With both sides needing a deal, I think they agree to a framework in the short term. And given the Iranian...

US/Israel Launches Op Epic Fury Against Iran

Despite all the media naysaying and posturing by Iran and Trump, I think there is a better than even chance that the ceasefire is extended and that there is a deal soon. One of the problems is that it is unclear who is even in charge in Iran. Maybe no one. Maybe multiple different people with...

"The Mummy." Can't say that I loved it, but they conjured up some similarities to The Exorcist, Poltergeist, and The Evil Dead. It's going to bomb at the box office, though, because there is no specific demographic for this type of movie. The violence is also over the top. I say that as...

US/Israel Launches Op Epic Fury Against Iran

How did those technical experts do in places like Vietnam, Afghanistan, and Iraq? How did they do in the past in negotiating with Iran? The US negotiators are not the problem. Iran is the problem. How can you negotiate with people whose objective it is to destroy Israel and US and go down...

    Things that I really like

The Lakers were locked in. Almost everyone played above expectations. Love him or hate him, it's pretty amazing to see LeBron still playing at that level. He is clearly past his prime and sometimes runs out of gas, but he still has his moments. If the Lakers stay ahead in this series, they...

US/Israel Launches Op Epic Fury Against Iran

Paying a little more to eat out or gas for a $50k+ car is not exactly the end of the world. People from all over the world are leaving their countries to come here. It is a time of milk and honey. Not for 100% but remarkably many. The media is trying to create a doomsday scenario for...

US/Israel Launches Op Epic Fury Against Iran

I don't see temporarily paying higher gas prices as suffering. Suffering means your economy is tanking, your leadership has been killed, and your military has been demolished. That is the situation that Iran is in. Gas prices were higher under Biden and there was no gas ticker on CNN etc...
