Steadfast

I've been to the Rpworldmodels site and while they do have pictures and the number of the set photographed, alas they do not have them all. The sets I'm referring to were purchased in the 1980's. Perhaps some of them are out of production? :rolleyes2:

    Steadfast

A great link you've provided. Under "toy soldiers" there are a number of catalogs and lists presented alphabetically (e.g. Starlux and Swoppets), but not Steadfast...yet. Thanks for your help. (BTW: I like your signature.)

    Steadfast

(Reviving an interestign thread:)) My son (now middle-age) has a pretty good collection of Steadfast soldiers thanks to his indulgent parents. He wisely saved many of the boxes the sets came in but not all of them! Is there a catalog (with pictures) that has a complete list?

Katana, You're not alone. "My flats collection" had 79 screens (pages) before the change, but now only 78. The rest has disappeared. So has the correct number of my posts.

    Pure Nostalgia

Several posts back someone put a link to a CD where every issue of Campaigns were available. The link is dead, but can anybody help me get that CD?

What are the Forum members reading

I'm reading The Romanovs by Simon Montefiore. A history of the dynasty that ruled Russia for some 300 years.Good background on current issues such as the Ukraine and Crimea. And of course we all know that Peter III collected toy soldiers, right?:D

    Mike Tarantino's Toy Soldier Collection

Mike, Just opened this thread. Is there a word in the English language that expresses more than "impressive?" What a fantastic collection. :salute:: Asterix - also a 54mm collector as well as Flats

    My Flat Collection

Hello, I've been a member of the British Flat Figure Society (now the International Flat Figure Society) since 2004. The old website seemed more open to a number of flats-related topics but now is mostly geared to painting of them. I do paint flats, but I'll never get to the level of what is...

    My Flat Collection

Ray, Thanks for these first baby steps. I'm away from my main computer right now. It's in Saint Louis, and I'm closer to you in Colorado (very snowy). I'll return home this Sunday and start walking though what you have here. Being able to post multiple pictures would be great and I would not...

    My Flat Collection

Vicknor, Do you want painted or unpainted flats or does that matter? I'd start you by going to Ebay.de.com and type in "flachfiguren" into their search engine. It helps if you have an account with Paypal.

    My Flat Collection

Ray, Yes I have some pictures on my computer and can easily put on more. The photo bucket assistance would be most welcomed. If we're successful I can see this thread going well beyond 74 screens as I have a number of flats I'd like to share here. Thanks in advance. Scott (a.k.a. "Asterix" here)

    My Flat Collection

I hesitate to post this here because we have a "how to section" elsewhere on this Forum. But how do I send pictures of some of my flats here? I've gone to the how to section and photo bucket but as a techno Neanderthal I get lost in explanations easily. Is there any hope?

    Single Figures Versus Sets

Since I collect mostly older Britains Ltd. (I know I'm in "General Matte Discussion") I switched from sets which are often expensive to single figures - one of each type in a set. Singles are easier to find display space for, too.
