Having been inspired by many of my fellow Treefrog forum members, I decided to finally try making my own diorama base.
Here are some pics of the initial progress followed by some pics of the fully finished product with a background:
In a recent correspondence with JJ he indicated that these Queen's Rangers were quite a hit I believe you are right in that a couple more figures may be forthcoming.
I will be all in on the Bunker Hill range and can't wait for the militia figures that were previewed last month to be released...
These are nice looking figures Ben. Thanks for posting these pics. I was considering getting these myself but can only buy so much. Glad that WB did the 60th grenadiers as I don't believe they've been done before.
Matt,
This will be my first ever trip to the Chicago show. I am looking forward to it with great anticipation.
I think it's great that the hotel itself is sold out for the show, which brings me to my question.
With all the rooms sold out, I would assume that the show will be highly attended...
Looks good Wayne, especially since you've never seen snow in person.
The only comment I have to offer is something I do with my snow scenes and that is to add some trailing foot prints or tire tracks for an added realism effect. But sometimes a pre-made mat isn't pliable enough to accomplish...
Oh wow, very nice Duke!! I love the arrangement of the figures, the ground work and the entire scene.
I remembered that you had some AWI stashed away in your collection somewhere. Thanks for bringing them out and sharing this dio with us.
Well done!
Mark,
You are very fortunate to have a shed to house your collection. You've done a tremendous job in displaying everything. Your collection looks awesome, mate!
