I am doing Rorke’s Drift with 1st Legion and TG figures. I have made the Hospital myself modelled on the one in the film, like JG Miniatures. As for the backdrop I have copied the film which was made in the Drakensburg park in SA. As far as I know there is no Rorke’s Drift backdrop available...

Methinks you may be right. They are maybe a few years old and it looks like an error which probably would not happen now. You could file them down a bit, remodel and repaint.

Don’t get hung up on the inaccuracies they are too numerous to mention. Just be grateful for a film packed to the barricades with brilliant character actors. They could’nt make it now and would not be allowed to.

Don’t think they are that rare, maybe just a bit thin on the ground. Some on eBay not that expensive but for me a bit crude in comparison with FL. the poses seem a bit ambitious and for me don’t work but maybe I’m in a minority. Like anything it’s down to individual preference.

I ordered from the UK and was pleasantly surprised. I had to pay duty before the Royal Mail would deliver but postage and duty came to about 10 percent of the price which is still massively cheaper than buying in the UK.

I was thinking of Knights Of the Hundred Years War and have a couple of Aeroart ones. No problems with the Longbowmen but would the FL Henry V look OK with them? He is a fraction of the price and I have never seen him in the flesh (or pewter). Can anyone advise?
