It would be nice if the officer holding the flag could come with a regimental flag as well. Two different sets or interchangeable flags. I would pay the the extra money for the regimental flag.

I noticed the 24th Foot loading bears a striking resemblance to Lt. Melvill. Any chance of reproducing that look in a mounted officer carrying the Queen's Colour?

That is great news about Churchill and Morant! The photo on the right was the one I was talking about. Churchill certainly lived a charmed life. He survived action on the Northwest Frontier, in the Sudan and Boer War.

The Boer war it is. I really like what you’ve done so far TGM. I second Jazzeum’s request for a Winston Churchill figure. There is a very interesting photo of Churchill in South Africa wearing an army tunic and a beat up slouch hat.

They could be members of the Highland Brigade at the Battle of Magersfontein- Second Boer War. That would be pretty cool if we had two manufacturers doing a Boer War series. I'm still hoping for a Northwest Frontier series.

Does the figure running with the bayonet on his rifle have a Canadian Maple Leaf on his helmet? I know there were Canadian units in South Africa.

Yes it does! I was lucky enough to get a couple test sets of the new Zulu figures off of "epay." I got the Bob Hoskins, "Sgt. Williams" figure with the revolver and knobkerrie. It's a very nice figure, I hope they get released.
