    Moghul Hunting Scene

I trimmed off a couple of flow channels to the horses' hooves and changed the skin tone of the figs after looking at pics of Mughal miniature paintings. I believe that the Editor was Rieger Zinnfiguren.

    New Forum Look

Hi Rich and Julie, I had posted earlier about the new format. Totally unfounded. I'm still not that familiar with the new format but I think you are doing a great job in ironing out the glitches. I find that adding pics to my posts are easier with this new format. Thanks for this website...

    Franco Prussian War Piece

I built up the base a bit more. Decided that I need to increase the box depth to accommodate the base. So I added an insert (white) that came with the IKEA frame. Added some putty to these figs.

    Golgotha set

Hi Steve, Thanks for yr input. I wasn't sure that this thread was posted as there was a glitch. Probably on my end as the new site format is still unfamiliar to me. I should have posted this thread under painting. Good to know that the usual to and fro banter is more or less there, even with...

    Israelites

Got these two sets probably from Wilken Zinnfiguren. Dance of Salome and The Wisdom of Solomon. The former has John the Baptist's head served on a platter.

    Franco Prussian War Piece

I finally decided to embark on yet another improbable quest. I wont tell you which ptg this is based on. It will become obvious as I plod on. I gathered all the obvious headdress kepis and pickelhaubes from various sources, all backed by another tray of spares for French 1870-WWI periods and...
