Small set bought from Wilken Zinnfiguren. I've started to ptg it. I saw a lot of religious paintings during my last European trip.

Yes, going by your photos from your trip, there was certainly much of what you saw to be inspired by.

Thanks for yr input. I wasn't sure that this thread was posted as there was a glitch. Probably on my end as the new site format is still unfamiliar to me. I should have posted this thread under painting.
Good to know that the usual to and fro banter is more or less there, even with the new starchy white bkgd. Looks very sanitised Victorian and prudish eh? Hahahha.

Just finished this as well. Im now using a diluent mix of liquin, linseed oil and turp to wet the brush. Liquin by itself seems to dry too fast for these small paint applications.

Good eye and a lot of patience needed for those miniatures!
