The rifles are very fragile and the bayonets on the ends have come off on several of the figures. I tried to only show the figures that were more or less undamaged. I wish I can find this type of naval uniform, just for my own satisfaction. The US Navy has a web site with all the uniforms from...
The first ones I am pretty sure are US Navy, but not sure on the date, early 1900's, and in a hot area.
The second group, not sure maybe Prussian, has an eagle on the helmet
Thank you again for all the help and wishing everyone Happy Holidays and Stay Safe and Well,

I guess I stumped the experts on the two previous bands I showed, so I decided to try with another one. The yellow stipes and plumes are what I haven't been able to match. Thanks for all the help and I am hoping someone can let me know what unit they represent.

I promise this is the last two bands I will post. I think one is early US Marines and the other is Royal Artillery but the white pants don't seem correct. One set is recast Britains, but the other set has an added base to make them stand up and I haven't seen that leg arrangement before. I have...
You are right. I can see traces of red paint on the blue plume and also the gold cross belt. Thank you very much for the help. Now I know to look a little more for evidence of a re-paint.

It isn't as if I haven't tried to find this guy. Neither of my reference books show this and looking at countless ebay and other listings and I still can't get a definate ID, so here I am again. Hope everyone had a Happy Thanksgiving given all the restrictions and warnings. I have included two...
Thanks very much for the information, I knew they weren't early enough to have been a French make, but I couldn't figure out why the lettering was still on the figure. I appreciate you taking the name to educate me.

I have several of these Royal Scots Greys and they have a partial marking on them that appear to say Despose. I have attached a photo of one for you to look it and give your opinion. Thanks in advance.
The other difference that I noticed is my figure has the drain whole in the horses head and on the photo you supplied the hole is on the knights head.
Thank you for your post.
I am trying to tell if these mounted knights are Johillco or Sonsco. I can't find any markings on them. Thanks for the help. If you need additional photos, let me know.

This trumpeter was in with other soldiers from Set 8 Queens Hussars, but he has the wrong color bag and wrong color stripe on his breeches. Does this trumpeter belong to another set or painted the wrong color? Thanks for the help.
I have looked online and in my two books and can't find any Life Guards on horses at the halt. Did the original owner repaint these to look like life guards? I would appreciate any help to figure this out.

I am trying to figure out how to date several figures that I have. I understand the figures with the dates were used until the 1920's but when was the word " Proprietors" dropped from the molds. Thanks for the help.

I have a single Innisilling Dragoon and I can't figure out what the last word is on the bottom of the horse. I can make out Britains Copyright Made in England, what the last word I can't figure out. Some of the letters are "PROPR...."? Can it be PROPRITORS ?Thanks in advance for the help.

It has the same warning label the others I have ID as Britains. It was in with 5 other 2001 Britain's knights. This is the only one I haven't been able to ID. I think this was part of a Tournament series Britains put out. I will just keeping looking and hopefully will find it.

Hope everyone is doing well. Finally moved on to newer figures. Is this knight part of the Knights of Agincourt? I have figures 08411 and 08415, but can't find this jousting knight's number?
Also how do you tell the 2001 set from the from the sets that were issued around 2004-2006. Thanks in...
I am looking for the front wheel assembly for the Bren Gun Carrier and Crew 1876. As you can see from the photo the entire assembly is missing. Let me know if you have one and price or trade. Safe Safe and Well, simos
This set has found in an "Under Two Flags", does anyone recognize what set this is. I haven't been able to find anything that resembles the set. Thanks in advance for all the help I have received on this forum.

This came out of the estate I am helping with. The card is in lucite and at the bottom is written The Connaught Rangers. The photos show the front and back of the card.
