Thanks all for the advices and links.
Looks Like I have a lot of reading :)
No vacuum chamber on hands but do you think a vibrating table might help?
I recently got one and it's very very effective for casting plaster.

Had to find out what 'wishy washy' meant but I agree with you, not real green.
But the one on top is also green and not wishy washy at all ! But not very visible with the light in my garage that is not that good (still a long way to go before my wife agrees I set up my workbench in the house...
I have some silicone moulds that I use to produce scenics item with plaster (visible in the diorama section).
In order to get lighter pieces that could be shipped by mail , I'd like to try casting them in resin.
Some of the questions I have :
Will the silicone moulds be damaged ? (this not...
I'll open a new thread about that in the Casting section.
In the meantime, here is a picture of 'palace' castings made with various colored plasters.

Thanks all for the comment.

Can I use the same silicone moulds I use for plaster without damaging them ?
What kind of resin should used ?

Hi,
Thanks for your interest in the Alma Figures range.
www.forlornhopesoldiers.com is the correct site.
I've sent you an email with details.
Best regards,
Michel
I haven't seen this thread so far and I'm thus maybe a bit late.
But I have to testify on the great paint jobs made but Jeff and that the praises made by other forum members are amply merited !
Michel
Thanks for the coverage Jeff !
I'm very happy that some Alma kits and painted figures have found new homes.
Also very encouraging were the comments of several attendees that they were glad the Alma range was backon the market.
Michel
Thanks simon and Jeff!
It was also nice to see you and other forum members!
And thanks for the pictures, even if present I had not the time to see everything :)
