Actually the original packaging is perfect if you split the foam behind the chariot. Much easier to get out of the packaging without damaging it. I have done five of these now.This one got the brass tube axle. It is super strong. If anyone wants theirs repaired I am their man.:salute::

We had a bunch of these in the shop. This was the worst one. I got creative with this and I will post a how to later. This has been a favorite with me but, sadly many are in disrepair. The shipping monkeys destroyed them in shipping. The metal is very soft. Mass and momentum being introduced...
Found this Pic on FB. John Wayne my favorite all time actor playing with toy soldiers on an Alamo diorama. One thinks that this would have had something to do with the Alamo movie. I wonder where this is now.......
