TG asked for comments and ideas.

I completely agree about fallschirmjagers. The last range of FJ's made by TG were outstanding, but not enough action poses with troops advancing firing SMG's and/or rifles, and/ or throwing grenades. These would be great to see. Don't give up on the FJ's, Thomas Gunn has a good history with...

    Bulge German Panzergrenadiers Pics

Great photos! Perhaps that double crease is to depict gaunt and worn out faces, after years of hard slog...but yes it isn't necessary and detracts slightly. Great poses and painting.

New Releases for March 2018 - The Second World War

I would just love to see JJD getting into releasing action posed WW2 infantry sets - German, British, US, Japanese...what are the chances ?

Your Most Iconic K&C Diorama and Figure Set

I favour anything to do with the desert. The front cover of the "K & C Collector Issue 31" has an amazing desert village, made for a commission I believe for one lucky collector. Set up as it is with many DAK sets, it is a feast for the imagination. It is also shown within the magazine set up...

    KING & COUNTRY Dispatches -- March 2018

Great releases! The Syrian troops look excellent, some great action poses. With that style of uniform they could be used for a number of wars into the 80's and 90's too I reckon. I love the Napoleonic Old Guard range too, I am going to have to slowly pick all of these up, would love to have a...

    Fallschirmjäger

Yes, imagine if it were re-made to K&C' s current sculpting standards ( as well as the other very early FJ sets) , they would all be very popular I'm sure...

Interesting news from Andy... Three new FJ scenarios...can't wait to hear more !

    Fallschirmjäger

Yes, good clear photos "agmtanks" ! A really nice set, and TGunn have done a very good job on accurately sculpting the shape of the M38 paratroop helmet, which often is the Achilles heel of any manufacturers FJ figures ( to my eye), and so they should be commended for that.

    Fallschirmjäger

Yes I have always liked the Gunn figures too, and their more recent sculpts are very good indeed, their last range of fallschirmjagers was really well done... in particular the MG42 on its tripod with gunner and ammo feeder/ assistant is an absolutely great piece ( I have it in the tropical...

    Fallschirmjäger

It may be worth pointing out that as far as uniform was concerned, in battle SS para's and Luftwaffe para's would look indistinguishable. SS para's did not have SS decals on helmets but just used the standard Luftwaffe helmets anyway ( with or without eagle decal ) and there was not an SS camo...

    Fallschirmjäger

Well if it's a choice of one or the other "proper" Luftwaffe para's get my vote to be produced every time...and as the original post that started this all off suggests, Normandy should be well received.

    Comprehensive King & Country Catalog

The collector magazines and brochures under the Events tab on their website cover the sets well in the meantime, but a book would be great. Probably too expensive to produce though , in the quality we would want, given the fairly niche interest.

Great photos gentlemen. The soldier consulting the map is a fine figure.

    Fallschirmjäger

...and was later incorporated into SS para battalion 600, which fought in the Ardennes with Skorzeny...and we know how much Andy likes the Ardennes range, so kills two birds with one stone ...and with the right uniform choices for them - not too much snow, or none at all, you get some very...

    Fallschirmjäger

...and if K & C like doing SS so much, how about SS para battalion 500 ( involved in the daring glider raid to capture Tito in 1944) ...?
