K&C NE002, "Aarb Guide" arrived this afternoon. He will be a useful and helpful figure for Professor Jones in his search for the Ark of the Covenant.

This is the best way to the treasures you seek effendi.
Or perhaps this is a better way to find what you seek effendi.
Bastet, also known as Bast, is one of the most worshipped deities in ancient Egyptian mythology. She is often depicted as a lioness or as a woman with the head of a lioness or a domestic cat. Bastet's transformation from a lioness warrior goddess to a more nurturing cat goddess highlights her...
King & Country NE012, "Temple Ruin" (which I discovered listed in the TF consignment section), was delivered this morning. This is a closeup photo showing some of the Temple detailing. I posted another photo (a wider shot) of this arrangement in the Diorama section earlier.

K&C NE012, "Temple Ruin" arrived today. It's been long retired and I happened to find it listed in the TF consignment section. A lucky find.

Professor Jones and crew have discovered another ancient Temple Ruin. Could the Lost Ark of the Covenant be in there?
In the past week I've received three deliveries which included the K&C Desert Village House, various K&C DAK figures, as well as some K&C desert civilians. These pretty much completed my Indiana Jones and the Lost Ark display shelf. Still some fine tuning to be done like adding some desert palm...
Continuing to develop my Discovering Tutankhamun shelf as well as my Indiana Jones and the Lost Ark shelf. Currently most of my attention has been on the "Indy" shelf. I did find K&C SP035, "The Village House" and ordered it this morning. Photos of how the shelves currently look.

I'm looking for K&C SP067, "The New Desert Village Shop House" and SP035, "The Desert Village House". PM me if you have one or both that need a new home. Thanks in advance.

Delivery day - AK037 Opel Blitz and SP061 Desert Village Compound Walls.
Professor Jones is desperately searching for the kidnapped Marion Ravenwood.
"Marion, are you in there?"
Here are a series of photos that show the current arrangement of my Discovering Tutankhamun shelf display as well as my display in progress featuring Professor Jones and the Lost Ark.

A new shelf display in the making . . .
Waiting for "Indy" to arrive at the newly discovered archaeological site that dates back to the reign of King Solomon. Perhaps the long lost Ark of the Covenant is entombed here 😉
I have several sets of AE078, "Egyptian Sandstone Blocks" which are very useful for making walls for tombs and temples. However, their dimension doesn't allow the creation of a perpendicular vertical finished edge. It's always stepped. This morning I decided to try to cut two of the stones in...
Just received shipment notification that Professor Jones and the Ark of the Covenant are on their way. Should receive them Saturday or Monday. More likely Monday.
Marion Ravenwood is patiently waiting for the professor to arrive. Then the search for the Ark of the Covenant will begin.

It's been very hot here lately. Thought I would try to cool things down today, especially since I received another order of winter Pequot Pines this afternoon. This fills up my 35-inch winter shelf display. Figures are from the JJD Battle on Snowshoes range

I've repurposed a diorama base that I've had for many years to display the Union Limber Under Fire set with its companion pieces. The base was made by Ken Olsen which I purchased at a Chicago Toy Soldier Show a long time ago. Let's just say it required some dusting and minor repair 😉. Three more...
