    Ozzy Osbourne

I met Ozzy and his band right after the release of his first solo album. He was such an amazing gentleman. Despite doing a 12-hour "meet and greet" at a record store, he saw each and every person that came to see him. I was the last person in line. He was truly interested in me and I spent a...

Plastic troops in the back of comic books

I had the ugly flat set. It was disappointing. But, I went for the "Helen of Toy" "Tank Trap" game afterward and played the heck out of it. Even after the pieces were lost, I managed to make cardstock tanks and still played the game on a blanket that had a pattern on it with my classic Timmee...

    Recent Rock Concerts

Ted Nugent. I've seen him every year since '75, give or take a few. This summer he toured with a smaller band, less "political" stuff, and I sat at the stage. Ted still recognizes me and always tips his hat to me. We're friends on Facebook as well. He is still a monster on the guitar. He dropped...

    Mars WW2 Japanese

CTS states the new Japanese "1/32" scale figures are 2-1/16" tall. Rather small for the current 1/32 scale.

    Historic Traffic Backup in Maine!

I used to live in West Buxton ME. We also have a home in Saugus MA. We often would weekend in West Buxton and head back to Saugus nearly every weekend. There's been quite a few of these "perfect storm" traffic jams as I remember. The old Hampton tool booth in NH was one for the ages. It had...

    Aliexpress Marder

Have any of you ever bought one of these? I just did, sight unseen. Supposedly 1/32 scale, it looks pretty nice, and the price was very low.

    WWII ships

I had a game that had a four piece playing board, and two teams of ships which had parts that would fly off if you struck a trigger with a disc that you fired from a submarine. I think Ideal ande it, and it was part of their "Floor Wars" line. Could this be it?

    Rat Patrol Playset

A vacuum-formed terrain piece. You could make it in several sections that you piece together that fit into the box. On it should be dunes, trails/roads and simple ruins and hills. The purchaser could paint this.

    Glue Styrofoam to Plastic ?

I've been having some great success with difficult-to-glue items with a hot glue gun I picked up at the local craft store for nine bucks. I chose the "mini" as it's smaller and easier to get into tight spaces, and has two heat settings.
