As I did not read Julie´s Jan 28, 2025 email I encountered problems due to using a new outlook.com email adress for my Treefrog Treasures account. Julie kindly helped me back on track ...

Hi Brad,
thank you for your interest and your kind comment and yes I do. Actually a few figures are due to be finished soon. Austrian Pandours of 1741 and a group of Jäger from the Frei-Regiment La Belle 1758. I do not want to rush to get them ready but I will take pictures and post these on the...
Friedrich Wilhelm von Dossow (auch Doßow; * 17. Dezember 1669 in Soldin; † 28. März 1758 auf Gut Busekow) war ein preußischer Generalfeldmarschall.
Painted this 75mm figurine of him (issued by Klio AG Siebenjähriger Krieg) in oils recently.
Thank you for your kind reply. I am still very impressed with your AI generated plans. As for the German Gunboat with a second smokestack added, a more realistic stern shape rather than the harbor tug style, the wheel house a little raised and both "look outs" (?) at port/starboard sides added...
Amazing what KI can do, I like the transformed sketch of the Gunboat. Could serve as a good base for a scratch building project. Still rather odd to put a swastika on a pre WW1 Geman boat,- you should have a word with your KI. Thank you for posting.
Another very nice aircraft for your collection. The fuselage looks great and works very well. I spotted the MS logo on the cowling,- that is a very nice touch also. Very interesting plane for you Beute-Sammlung.

Hi Victor,
another intersting subject looking very good so far. Very nice collection of heads. Refreshing to see that you are useing oil colours as paint.
The thing about tin plate toys these days is that almost everbody likes them but nobody produces them. One reason being is that a lot of knowledge simply got lost over the generations plus modern paints can hardly replicate the glory of old brush painted tin plate toys. After two years I can now...
Hi,
Thank you for your reply. You have chosen a wonderful and very interesting object to replicate. The size of it is a true challange. Yet by the rules of tin plate modelling I guess it could be done but certainly not "In Scale". Just to illustrate my previous post I attach a few pics of what...
Hi,
pardon me asking, but why does it have to be 3D printing. I persume you plan in 1/32 or 54mm scale (Glossy?). In 3D you might encounter problems with the build chamber of a good resin printer. It will be rather expensive in anyway. FDM printers may work for larger scale, but personally I do...
Hi Emanuel,
I never use ebay.com, go to the link below. He has plenty of Merten figurines, good prices and modest shipping rates (actually free shipment within Germany).
Good luck

Wolfgang...
For the price of a pizza at my favourite Italian Restaurant, I found this 26 men strong group of 40mm hard plastic Zouaves on Ebay. The producer is the old Berlin Toy company of Merten. These here where made some time in the sixties, Merten started producing metal Toy soldiers but switched to...
