Good job in moving the entire town!! I love following these adventures you post Rob!! I too, find them entertaining. Can't wait to see how the saga will continue.
The fun indeed will continue Mike. You got yourself some great additions. Can't wait to see what scenes you'll put together with these new guys and gals.
Very nice set up Chris!! I can't find any more superlatives to add than what's been already mentioned above. Figures aligned in mass like that always attract our attention and you've displayed them extremely well.
Tristan,
Well done!! I've been leaning towards using natural scenery myself whenever I can. You made good use of the stuff you found and cut it to scale perfectly.
Steve,
Thanks so much for sharing all your wonderful dio's!! They each display your creative talent quite well! I especially love the backgrounds in some of these as they offer a great effect. The one with the stadium is my favorite.
I could be wrong but these 3 appear to be royal British officers; not necessarily attached to any particular regiment. I think JJ may simply be depicting officer command of Frasier, Burgoyne, and Clerke at the Battle of Saratoga as they would have appeared in leading all the units/regiments...
Woodland Scenics is a good option. Some of the Hudson & Allen items also work well.
I've also ordered overseas from Italy a few times from this guy: https://www.dioramapresepe.com/categoria-prodotto/fogliame-grosso-fogliame-fine-effetto-erboso-sottile-e-grosso-ed-effetto-fiori/
Hope that helps.
Steve & Rob......
All these scenes are simply outstanding in every way!! I agree with Rob in that I can't keep up with all you're postings Steve. But that is fine with me as it gives me something to look forward when checking out the latest on this forum.
Steve--you've cornered the market on...
