Nice collection Robin.
I think we can all agree that we are looking forward to John's mounted Anglo/Zulu War releases.
I never thought I would collect more AZW stuff as I have so much from other manufacturers but John sucks you in. Just like American Civil War where I resisted the 54th Mass...
Oh I forgot I have the 4 Collectors Showcase Carbineer figures as well, although one has a broken carbine and I also have some dismounted WB Native Horse figures and Durnford figure all 12,000 miles away. Shows how addicted I am as these figures would not have been out of their boxes in 5 or 6...
I have long retired Heritage Natal Native Horse figures but John's will be a step up on what I have. I also like the Mounted Infantry figures as I already have Lancers in their blue uniforms from William Britain, Heritage. Thomas Gunn and First Legion so I would add these to the Anglo/Zulu War...
Really nice Jason. I have all the Trojan and Egyptian sets, sadly still boxed up and in storage. I did have the Trojan and Greeks on display but house renovations forced a retreat.
The Egyptian sets are really well done. I got more Nubians on Thursday and ordered another 5 Nubians in the...
Hi Jason. I have a couple Assyrian's in our house but another four in storage. When I order from Julie for Team Miniatures, War Park or other First Legion items I try to get one Assyrian and one late Republic Roman from First Legion to build up these expensive figures slowly. The Assyrians are...
Got my September releases yesterday including this chap. I like him and my favorite ranges are all of John's ancients. I got both Persian chariots, they are awesome.
I have received all 8 variants of the latest Hussars release. They are very good. With TM, First Legion and one Del Prado figure I have 29 in my Cavalry charge. Definitely need some more Ottoman opposition.
I like the idea that light cavalry could have been used as messengers or for scouting. Would not have been used in the traditional sense on the battlefield, or at least no evidence for their deployment in this period of history. First evidence of use of cavalry a few hundred years later by...
Every Monday is just a fantastic trip into history. Don't really care what John puts out as I am drawn to it all and happy for him to take me on this incredible journey in any order he likes.
Its such a fantastic range so glad John went for this. John said he was very excited about producing his Hittite chariots. Then after this maybe Assyrians? I have some of the fantastic First Legion ones (I get one every month or so) but I am sure John would take it up a gear.
That would be great if all of those figures are produced But you never know with John how complete he will make the range and how long it will take I have the First Legion Companion Cavalry and Alexander figure which are well done. I have the First Legion Macedonian phalanx and they are not...
