Hi Guys,

Gordon’s been hard at work on putting together some small dioramas for use in our King & Country Shop in Pacific Place, Hong Kong.

The only “brief” I gave him was “make them useful for more than one of our series...”

Here’s one of the dios he came up with...Hope you like it. Best wishes and happy collecting!

Andy

Gordon is like a machine...

he cranks out such nice stuff and on a regular basis too...

what a nice vignette to display figures...

beautiful and timeless...

anything and everything fits in well on it...

Nice dioramas! Those Voltigeurs sure come to life in a scene like this.
Cheers,

Would love to see these kind of bases go into production but they would be expensive as a lot of work goes into these and also very time consuming.

I've been trying for years to get Ken Osen to do some simple bases and he has done a few. At the same time there are scenic companies (TM Terrain, JG Miniatures, Build-a-Rama) that could do it and in fact JG Miniatures produced a series of 6" x 6" tile bases that can be joined together. While few of us could afford a custom design by Gordon, I believe there is an untapped market for simpler, affordable scenic bases. I'm thinking $250 - $300 - the cost of a AFV or two
