Hi Guys,
As some of you know The Falklands War of 1982 is a subject and a conflict that I have always been interested in.
As a former Royal Marine I am proud that my old Corps in the shape of the 3rd. Commando Brigade led the ground assault to liberate these lonely, windswept islands after the Argentine invasion of April 1982.
Although I left the Corps to come to Hong Kong in 1977 I still had several very good mates who made that long journey south with the Brigade and along with the Paras and other British Army units to achieve that famous victory.
Here is a little K&C tribute in miniature to all of them from one old ‘bootneck’… And also for our ‘Falklands’ collectors – Enjoy and keep yomping!
