Id venture not much. The manufacturers arent bearing any of the development costs.

Its like asking how a dvd pirater can afford to sell copies for so much less than the movie studio. Copies of the dvd are relatively cheap to make themselves. Its the development of the content, the creative process, so to speak that is so bloody expensive.
