The fighting officer Team released for the Zouaves is actually in the uniform colors of an officer of the Tirailleurs.

Maybe Team can offer a repaint of this figure or create a new figure with the proper uniform colors of a French officer of Zouaves.

You could repaint the jacket in black, it doesn't look like a big deal in my opinion. It s also fun).

This is a cool field.
I truly wish I could paint and enjoy it half as well as you do, friend. It is truly fun and relaxing and rewarding.
But I would paint a cheaper casting than a repaint of an US$80 fig!

I love this figure, one of my all time favourites. I would definitely buy him in a repaint version. I just noticed this guy and the new at attention Algerian Officer are similarly uniformed. I want more TM Franco Prussian figures. I did not collect this period till this series came along

I hope so as my Aussie dealer said there was not much interest in the Yank/Spanish figures and I will need to wait for him to order these figures for me once the Columbus range is released. Getting three releases in one is going to hit the bank account hard!

My guy said the same, might be the same dealer. But they know their business and what works best. I dont want to pay more because our dealer has to pay more for shipping.
I am being patient, i am absolutely hanging to get a few rough riders for my Boxer Rebellion set up

It's a fair cop. Sorry. I blame my age (mid-40's). Although I think I wake up too much at night due to some smaller health issues. But I might be imagining it. Which is possible because I should be asleep{sm2}.

TM's figures are always a good deal. We have a dozen mounted Mongols and the same number of Tatanka's People with tents, hides, horses, etc. (mainly the village).

We like all the ranges by TM.

Clearly Colombo/Columbus and the other more unique sets are awesome, for those interested in this part of History.
I was wondering what people think of the Conquistadores by TM?
Even with a discount, are they like JJD's? What are the main differences, etc.
I am looking forward to the natives and the hut: they look great. I will decide then whether to invest in this range, unless I only get Columbus - if he isn't sold out by the time I decide.
