Hi Guys,

We just got delivery of a little flight of German Luftwaffe aircraft...

As you can see most are destined for “North Afrika”...However one hand-carved version of Adolf Galland’s Me.262 also sneaked in...!

Happy Flying,
Andy C.

Superb looking Andy. Are these special orders, i.e., onesies?

Are these planes " special order" or will we see them soon in the coming dispatches ?
guy:)

Those are wood so I'm sure we won't see them in the Dispatches. I'm guessing they were special order.

I've always wondered what the cartridges(?) are around the tops of the LW pilots' boots...anybody know?

I am certainly no plane expert but I have alway felt that of all the iconic fighters from WW2, the Focke-Wulf was the one that really looked 'the business'. The Spitfire was all elegance, the Mustang and Thunderbolt looked like muscle cars, but the 190 just looked like death with wings.

Well done K&C.

Hi Guys, thanks Gebs,

You beat me to it! “Signal Flares” indeed...very useful if you were unlucky enough to be shot down in the English Channel...the North African desert...or deep inside Russian Territory!!!

Happy Flying,

Andy C.

Seems a strange way to carry them. I'm trying to imagine bandoleers of cartridges 20-40mm in diameter around my shins. ...And the idea that other countries' pilots did not imitate this.

Thanks guys!
